Wyangala Waters

Located about 38km south east of Cowra, Wyangala Waters is a holiday park set on the banks of scenic Wyangala Dam.

Wyangala Waters offer a range of accommodation options from primitive camping on 3000ha on the edge of the dam, to a three bedroom cabin in the main park or for something different you may like to relax on a houseboat on the water. There are powered caravan and tent sites available and there is unpowered bush camping throughout the area.

Wyangala has plenty of fun recreation facilities and wide open spaces, making this the ideal stop for a family day out or an adventure filled holiday. Bring along your boats, canoes and water skis to make the most out of staying right on the water! The Park has an onsite general store and service station, which sells take-away food at the entrance to the Park. The Store is open 7 days and longer hours in summer from 8am to 7pm. Wyangala Dam is the recreation area for the central west of NSW. The area caters for campers, glampers and day trippers, Skiers, boaters or fishers. If you want to pitch a tent or stay in a cabin the two parks, Wyangala and Grabine will fit your needs. If you wish to do it primitive the back waters areas are for you. Out the back you have Isolation, no phones, 4X4 , camping fishing, bushwalking, just back to nature. Dogs are welcome in the dog friendly areas of the park and on campsites. Dogs must be on a leash and attended at all times. *please call the park directly to book.

There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
