Patonga Caravan and Camping Area

Patonga Caravan and Camping Area is located 25km south from Gosford on Bay Street in the peaceful bay-side village of Patonga which is in the Central Coast Region of New South Wales.

The Patonga Caravan and Camping Area is located at the mouth of the Hawkesbury River, between Patonga Creek and Patonga Beach, and surrounded by Brisbane Water National Park. Visitors to Patonga come for the beautiful, natural surroundings, spectacular views and secluded atmosphere.

Just over an hour’s drive north of Sydney, it’s the perfect spot to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Patonga is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, and many other water activities. The Patonga Beach Tavern & Bistro, a seafood takeaway and the Bakehouse Art Gallery are all within walking distance of the park. There are several popular bush walking tracks offering spectacular views of the surrounding national park, which is brimming with native wildlife. A ferry service also operates from Patonga public wharf, offering trips to nearby Palm Beach and Bobbin Head. (source: www.gosford.nsw.gov.au)

The Patonga Caravan and Camping Area has 36 powered and 45 unpowered sites for caravans and tents. and boasts modern amenities including laundry facilities. Small camp or cooking fires are permitted between 1 April and 31 August but rules apply.

There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this campsite.

The maximum time limit for staying here is 6 weeks.
