Lake Maraboon Holiday Village is located on Fairbairn Dam Road, about 22km south west of Emerald in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland.

Lake Maraboon Holiday Village is set on the banks of Fairbairn Dam, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Maraboon. This magnificent location is sure to delight, with endless aquatic pursuits including fishing, swimming and water skiing. Lake Maraboon is fishing heaven, with eight different kinds of fish to catch – but most famous for its plentiful Red Claw Crayfish.

Relax and take in the tranquil surrounds of the lake, put your feet up and admire the beautiful wildlife or for the thrill seekers enjoy some water sports. There is no limit of things to do and see during your stay. Use the park as your base for the region exploring the Minerva Hills National Park, Black Down National Park and the breath taking Carnarvon Gorge National Park. Many also travel to the Sapphire Gem fields and coal-mining town of Blackwater both only under an hour away.

Lake Maraboon Holiday Village offers a range of accommodation from camping and caravan sites to cabins and deluxe villas. There is a Cafe open from 8am and an A la Carte Restaurant & Bar from 11am to 6-7pm, please call as bookings are essential. No BYO.

If you are a keen fishing enthusiast Lake Maraboon is a great place to stay with eight different species of fish to catch, but most come back again and again for the plentiful Red Claw. Once you have your catch you can use the camp kitchen to prepare your feast and relax as the sun sets over the lake. The kids will enjoy a dip in the swimming pool, the cheeky bird life and the hire boat and kayaks on the lake.
