Lake Lyell Recreation Park

Lake Lyell Recreation Park is a picturesque campsite located 15km south-west of Lithgow on Magpie Hollow Road via the Great Western Highway in the Lithgow Region of Central West New South Wales.

The Park offers powered and unpowered camping options suitable for vans, tents, camping trailers, caravans and motor homes, all with views of the lake. They also have a range of amenities including BBQ’s, picnic and shower facilities and a children’s playground. There are also cabin accommodation option and a kiosk where you can buy basic supplies and gas.

Activities available at Lake Lyell Recreation Park are fishing, water skiing, camping, swiming, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking and jet skiing. It is a popular campground so booking is highly recommended for camping as during peak period as it can get very busy! (source: tourism.lithgow.com)
