Gumma Crossing Reserve
Located about 5.7km east of Macksville on Boultons Crossing Rd, Gumma Crossing Reserve Camping Ground is a low cost campsite on the banks of beautiful Warrell Creek.
The good sized camping area is level with plenty of grassy areas to park. It can be a busy spot in warmer months and mosquitoes and sand flies can be an issue, especially at sunset. Being right beside Warrell Creek, fishing and kayaking are popular activities.
There are not many facilities at this campsite but Nambucca Shire Council, who are the Reserve Trust Manager, are progressively improving the area as the budget permits. Fees are to be paid in cash only and are collected daily by a Council contractor or staff member. (source: www.nambuccatourism.com.au)
The last 2km of the access road is unsealed and can be affected by bad weather. Gumma Crossing Reserve can become isolated during periods of flooding so be aware of the weather conditions.
There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
Dogs are welcome at this campsite but please be responsible!
