Adels Grove Camping Park

Adels Grove Camping Park is located 10km from Lawn Hill Gorge in the Boodjamulla National Park and 50km from the world heritage Riversleigh Fossil fields in the Burke Region of North West Queensland.

Adels Grove Camping Park is an oasis in the outback offering not only accommodation but a range of other services. The Camping Park has accommodation to cater for all needs from rooms with Dinner and Breakfast Packages to camping by Lawn Hill Creek. There are two campgrounds, Top Campground and The Grove.

The Top Campground has 60 set campsites that are set in natural bushland with many sites having a fire place and/or tap available. Some sites are pet friendly and the area can accommodate visitors wanting to use a generator (rules apply). Amenities blocks are located between The Grove and Top camping areas.

The Grove Campground is a large shady area situated on beautiful Lawn Hill Creek. There are no set sites in this area. It is very popular for families and groups wanting to camp together. Small camp fires are permitted but sorry no pets or generators. Amenities blocks are located between The Grove and Top camping areas.

Adels Grove Camping Park has a small shop to stock up on essentials including ice, bread,ice creams etc. Unleaded and Diesel fuel is available along with a workshop for minor repairs and puncture repairs (some second hand tyres kept in stock). There is a fully stocked Bar that is open from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 4:00pm to 10:00pm as well as a licensed restaurant that offers breakfast from 7:00am to 8:00am, a bistro style lunch from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and a 2 course dinner from 6:45pm (bookings essential). ‘The Shack’ take-away meal service (adjacent to camp kitchen) is open for lunch at 11:30am to 1:30pm and dinner at 5:00pm to 7:00pm daily.
